How to use soft roof racks

• Strap Placement: The straps for securing the roof rack go through the cabin. As a result, during rain, water may enter the cabin. This happens because the strap material conducts moisture, which travels through the strap and drips into the cabin at the lowest point. This is not due to leaks through the rubber seal.

• During Rain: To minimise water entry, we suggest keeping your boards on top of the bed while travelling in rainy conditions. At night, you can place the boards on the roof without using the straps.

If your boards are wet, you can purchase a tarp to wrap them before placing them on the bed. Bunnings Warehouse and Kmart sell tarps for around $10.

Unfortunately, due to the nature of the material, moisture will travel through the straps, and there is no alternative solution to prevent this.
