What to Do in Case of an Accident

  1. Ensure Safety:

    • Check that everyone involved is okay. If anyone is injured or requires medical attention, call an ambulance immediately by dialing 000.

  2. Contact the Police if needed:

    • In Australia, police usually attend only major accidents, such as those blocking a main road. For minor accidents, you may not need to contact them. However, if someone has hit your vehicle and left the scene, report it as a hit-and-run to the police and obtain the police report number.

  3. Fill Out the Insurance Form:

    • Complete the insurance form

    • Please report all damages or issues within 24 hours. It is crucial to contact us before driving after an accident to ensure you do not cause further damage.

  4. Document the Incident:

    • Email pictures of all vehicles and property involved: enquiries@spaceshipsrentals.com.au

    • Please don`t forget to write your license plate or booking number in the subject line. Thank you

  5. Collect Third-Party Information:

    • Gather and record the following details from the third party involved:

      • Name

      • Email address

      • Phone number

      • Address

      • Insurance details

  6. Report Hit-and-Run:

    • If someone has hit your vehicle while you were not present, contact the police to report the incident and provide Spaceships with the police report number.
