We have two types of Bluetooth stereos installed in our Spaceships campervans in Australia. Below are step-by-step instructions for pairing your phone with each system.

1. AXIS Bluetooth Stereo (AX1502BT)

Get ready to connect your phone in just a few easy steps.

How to pair your phone

1. Turn on the AXIS stereo and press the Mode (SRC) button until you reach Bluetooth Music.

2. Turn on Bluetooth on your phone.

3. Search for new devices in your phone’s Bluetooth settings.

4. Select "AX1502BT" from the list.

5. If prompted, enter the password: 1234.

6. Once paired, the BT and HPF icons will light up on the stereo. The A2DP icon will appear when the connection is complete.

Troubleshooting

• If the stereo doesn’t appear in your phone’s Bluetooth list, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on both devices.

• If the connection fails, turn Bluetooth off and on again on your phone, then retry pairing.

2. Sony MEX-N5300BT Bluetooth Stereo

Pairing your phone is quick and simple. Let’s get started.

How to pair your phone

1. Press the Menu button on the stereo.

2. Rotate the control dial to select BLUETOOTH, then press it.

3. Rotate the dial to select SET PAIRING, then press it.

4. Select SET DEVICE 1 or SET DEVICE 2, then press the dial.

   • The Bluetooth symbol (ℹ️) will flash, indicating the stereo is in pairing mode.

5. On your phone, search for Bluetooth devices and select "MEX-N5300BT".

6. If prompted, enter the passkey: 0000.

NFC pairing (Android phones only)

1. Activate NFC on your Android phone.

2. Touch the N-Mark (NFC symbol) on the stereo with your phone.

3. The stereo will automatically pair with your phone.

Troubleshooting

• If pairing fails, turn Bluetooth off and on again on your phone, then retry.

• Ensure the stereo is in pairing mode (ℹ️ flashing).

• If the stereo doesn’t appear, restart Bluetooth on your phone.
