We provide three different insurance - vehicle protection - options for your #SpaceshipsRoadTrip in Australia. Standard insurance is included with every Spaceships campervan hire, but it comes with excess or bond.

So yes you can lower the excess/bond, it can even be reduced to $0 excess.

* = the rate of the Stress-Free and Partial insurance option is capped at 40 days. This means that even on long hires (over 41 days), our insurance options are affordable as you'll never pay more than 40 days for the insurance, which comes to $1,200 on Stress-Free and $800 on Partial. 

Capped means the maximum amount you will pay for the insurance. So if you travel for a long time you will never pay more than 40 days of insurance on Stress-Free and Partial Insurance, while you are still covered for the entire trip. It is the maximum you will pay for these insurance levels.
